During our trip through Baja California Sur in Mexico we had time to enjoy its beaches, explore its deserts, meet its people and also to have a good drink.
In the population of All Saints, west of this Mexican region, I tried the best margarita I've tasted so far. It was in the Hotelito.com, a beautiful hotel in a quiet area and close to the wild beaches of the Pacific, where as a reception we were presented with a phenomenal welcome Margarita cocktail.
We liked it so much that we repeated and our hostess, Vicky, had no problem posing before the camera to reveal his secret to preparing a good margarita.
In the video you can see the different steps and the importance of the measures when preparing this cocktail. It should be borne in mind that in most Spanish-speaking American countries lemon is called lime.
Likewise, the type of tequila that is used for this preparation of Margarita is the white tequila, obtained once the fermentation is carried out and not the gilding that passes a few months of maturation in the barrel.
Ingredients to prepare Margarita:
- 1 approximate glass of squeezed lemon (lime)
- 1 serving of natural syrup to sweeten
- Half a serving of orange liqueur (salted)
- 1 serving white tequila
- The glass is frosted with salt
- A decorative touch of lime is added to the glass
- Finally ice is added in small sizes
